After posting an image of a coffee cup with the message “Be Kind” emblazoned on it, Ivanka Trump is receiving quite the opposite reaction on social media.

President Donald Trump’s eldest daughter posted a few “Little bits of summer” on her Instagram on Friday, highlighting 20 photos from what she’s been up to in recent months.

In her post, Ivanka, 44, shared pictures posing with her husband, Jared Kushner, 45, and her kids, snaps of her beach reads, selfies from the gym, and one photo that stood out to viewers: an image of a mug with the message “Be Kind.” This comes after fans pointed out the striking resemblance between Kai Trump and her aunt, Ivanka.

Among all the photos, viewers read the glaring “Be Kind” message from Ivanka and were quick to point out the irony of the sentiment in connection to her father’s politics.

While Ivanka, who previously served as a special assistant to her father during his first term as president, told Fox & Friends in 2017, “I try to stay out of politics,” her viewers continue to connect her actions and messaging to politics.

“You should give that mug to your father,” one user wrote in the comment section.

A second user slammed Ivanka, writing, “You either have a lot of gall or are living in a delusional fantasy world to post a ‘Be Kind’ mug. No one believes that for a minute.”

“Maybe you should give that mug to your dad. I think he’s the one who needs the reminder,” a third user commented.

“Did you buy this mug for your dad and Miller,” commented a fourth user on her Instagram post, referring to the president and Deputy Chief of Staff for Policy Stephen Miller.

“‘Be kind’ might want to get that mug for your father!” someone else added.

This comes as Trump’s approval rating continues to struggle amid elevated inflation and the ongoing Iran war, as it hits record lows.

On July 28, an Economist/YouGov poll found that only 34% of Americans approved of Trump’s job performance, while a staggering 62% disapproved. This marks Trump’s lowest approval rating in YouGov tracking since his second term began.

His low approval ratings have been released as the high-stakes midterm elections are less than 100 days away. Republicans have been facing pushback against Trump’s souring approval ratings, while Democrats are striving to win a majority in Congress.

What does Ivanka Trump do?

Ivanka, her husband, and their three children live in the “Billionaire Bunker” in Indian Creek Village, which is a private island near Miami Beach, Florida. Some of the world’s richest elites live in this residential area, including Jeff Bezos and Mark Zuckerberg, according to Fortune.

During her father’s return to the White House, Ivanka has stepped back from politics, citing family obligations. She doesn’t hold a role in his administration. However, her husband, Jared Kushner, serves as the president’s Special Envoy for Peace alongside Steve Witkoff.

Outside of politics, Ivanka is the cofounder of Planet Harvest, a “profit-for-purpose” company, alongside her friend, Melissa Ackerman. Ivanka wrote on Facebook that they founded the company to “maximize the amount of fresh food that moves from farms to families” and reduce food waste.

She authored the book Women Who Work and has also become a social media influencer, frequently promoting her fitness and lifestyle.

Ivanka and Jared recently came under fire for plans to build a $1.5 billion luxury resort in Albania. Kushner’s private equity firm, Affinity Partners, first unveiled its resort plans back in August 2024 for the remote Sazan Island. Ivanka also shared more insights into the project, which would feature 10,000 hotel rooms and villas.

The plans sparked protests throughout the country earlier this summer.
