Denise Richards’ estranged husband, Aaron Phypers, revealed he is facing financial hardship, attributing his struggles to the Wild Things star’s alleged failure to make full monthly support payments.

According to TMZ, the Phypers said that he was evicted and has had to move to a “humblingly cheap place” near his attorney’s office since he can’t afford his old home.

The 53-year-old wellness practitioner further claimed that Denise Richards’ failure to meet her spousal support obligations has left him without basic utilities or mobile access. He also noted that his vehicle was repossessed, leaving him unable to afford transportation to meet with his legal team.

In a declaration filed by Aaron Phypers, he has claimed that the Real Housewives of Beverly Hills star owes him more than $23,000 in support payments. Reportedly, Denise Richards was ordered to pay Phypers $5k a month in temporary support earlier this year.

According to Yahoo!, Judge Bershon itemized the $5,000 monthly sum as $2,000 for rent, $1,000 for a car, $1,000 for food, and $1,000 for miscellaneous expenses. Additionally, Phypers claimed he hasn’t been able to get new business because Richards destroyed his phone in 2025, and he lost all his business contacts.Phypers’ claims have sparked intense social media reactions. Many users slammed him for blaming Richards. One X user said, “he’s a deadbeat freeloading snakeoil selling wife beater who almost killed Denise… I believe THAT is the reason his life has collapsed in on him.” A second added, “the way men will do literally anything except get a stable job and just find new ppl to drag into it.”A third joked, “If his car was repossessed, why would he need gas?” Another took a dig at his wellness practice and said, “Get a job then. Clearly those cancer healing crystals aren’t paying the bills.” A user slammed him for his “lost business contact” claims and said, “How stupid! If you were good at what you do. All the people that you used to work with still have your phone number. They’d be calling you like crazy. The fact that you can’t call them is probably a blessing to them to not have to hear your b——-.”

These allegations follow Aaron Phypers’ July 2025 divorce filing, in which he cited irreconcilable differences. The couple got married in 2018 after a year of dating and were together for almost seven years. Meanwhile, Richards claimed Phypers a—– her during their marriage.

A Los Angeles judge granted Richards a five-year restraining order against Phypers in November 2025. The order prevents him from contacting or a—— her and restricts him from possessing firearms. Phypers has denied the claims that he a—– Richards and added, “Victims of a—- shouldn’t be required to support their a—–.”
