Jennifer Garner, 54, burns candy calories on a post-Halloween jog with kids Fin, 17, and Sam, 14

Jennifer Garner was spotted burning off some Halloween candy calories on Monday with her two youngest children in their upscale Brentwood neighborhood in Los Angeles.

Looking every bit as fit as she did as the Marvel Comics antiheroine Elektra back in the early aughts, Garner, 54, turned the post-holiday workout into some quality family time.

The longtime fitness enthusiast, who also kicked serious butt as super spy Sydney Bristow in the JJ Abrams series Alias from 2001 to 2006, was joined by kids Sam, 14, and Fin, 17, whom she shares with her ex-husband Ben Affleck, 54.

Sam and Fin, formerly known as Seraphina, sported running shorts and floppy hair while mom looked typically trim in black leggings and a form-fitting gray T-shirt.

Fin came out as non-binary and debuted their new name at a memorial service for Garner’s father back in April 2024, the Daily Mail revealed.

Meanwhile, Garner and Affleck’s oldest child, daughter Violet, 20, was presumably busy hitting the books during her junior year at Yale University.

Garner and Affleck divorced in 2015. The actress, producer and self-proclaimed foodie has been in a longtime relationship with businessman and tech CEO John Miller, 48, since 2018.

Meanwhile, the proud mom of three recently spoke to her Five-Star Weekend costar Chloë Sevigny, 51, about the irreverent nickname her offspring christened her with recently.

‘I just think when kids make fun of parents together, and they’re bonded in it, or when kids make fun of you with love… ‘cause I have teenagers,’ she explained to Sevigny, whose son Vanja is a much younger six years old.

‘So, if they had done that at your son’s age, I would’ve been like, ‘Excuse me?’”

The good-humored Garner admitted the term crone—which typically refers to an ugly, malicious woman—is ‘really one of my favorite things.’

But that doesn’t mean her kids don’t think she’s anything other than ‘fully cringe’ on screen.

‘I am only embarrassing,’ Garner told Jennifer Hudson on her eponymous daytime talk show in February while promoting season two of her Apple TV+ series The Last Thing He Told Me.

‘I asked my kids if they were going to watch this season of the show, and they were like, “Do you need us to?”‘ Garner continued to Hudson, 45. ‘But I mean, kids don’t want to see their parents … right? They don’t want to see us cry, or see us have a romantic scene, anything. We’re just embarrassing.”Ex-hubby Affleck, for the record, thinks Garner is anything but cringe, admitting that he is ‘coming up short’ when it comes to co-parenting his kids compared to their ‘spectacular’ mom.

The Oscar-winning actor-director even offered Garner the female lead in his latest Netflix film Animals, with Kerry Washington, 49, later being cast in the role instead.

The former couple’s aborted collaboration could have hit close to home by portraying a rocky marriage on the screen.

‘I talked to Jen, and she was like, “We don’t wanna do that. You just get baggage,”‘ he said of their conversation during an interview with Entertainment Weekly.

However, Affleck said he does want the chance to collaborate with his first ex-wife at some point in the future.

‘I would love to work with her, frankly,’ he told the outlet. ‘She’s fabulous, and we’re really good friends, and I’m profoundly grateful to her, and we have a great thing.’

Meanwhile, Affleck has admitted that his children don’t want relationship advice from him following his failed marriages to Garner and Jennifer Lopez, 57.

‘I’ll say, “You know, well the thing about that relationship there…” and the 17-year-old turns to me and goes, “Oh, like you’re the expert on relationships?”‘ he admitted on Jimmy Kimmel Live! in September.

‘I give advice and try to talk to them, parent them as you do. What I found is that now it’s not only one teenager rolling their eyes.’

Affleck, who once thought of himself as the ‘cool dad,’ added: ‘I’ll kind of launch into something at the dinner table and I’ll catch them giving each other looks and I realize I’m the caricature in this story.’
