Paige Bueckers and Azzi Fudd break their silence on romantic relationship from UConn to the Wings
Dallas Wings duo Paige Bueckers and Azzi Fudd have finally spoken about their romantic relationship despite being college and WNBA teammates.

Bueckers and Fudd have been openly dating since June 2025 after years of rumours, but have chosen not to address their relationship in the media and keep their private lives private.
However, we will be getting a peek into their lives as part of Apple TV’s three-part docuseries ‘The Dynasty: UConn Huskies,’ as this features rare comments about their relationship from both players.
What did Paige Bueckers say about her relationship with Azzi Fudd?
Bueckers was the superstar leading UConn and is doing the same for the Wings now. She discussed the genesis of her relationship with Fudd, beginning in Bueckers’ sophomore year at UConn.
“Azzi ended up joining the team my sophomore year. It kinda just meshed as soon as we met. She’s sweet, she’s genuine, she has a huge, caring heart. We kind of felt a spark a little bit different than what would just be considered a normal friendship.”
Bueckers has previously shut down media questions around their relationship, becoming more stringent on this after Fudd was drafted to join the Wings in April 2026.
What did Azzi Fudd say about her relationship with Paige Bueckers?
Fudd reaffirmed the fact that her relationship with Bueckers is private but not a secret.
“Paige and I are a couple, and everyone close to us that was important knew, but it was kind of one of those things… It’s just, it’s private. Not a secret, but it’s private.”
The pair likely don’t want their relationship to become a sideshow compared to the on-court action, especially with the Wings receiving backlash for drafting Fudd over rookie MVP candidate Olivia Miles.
Fudd is averaging 13.1 points as a rookie for the Wings, while Bueckers is averaging 20.5 points, 5.8 assists, and 4.1 rebounds.
They’re expected to be in the postseason and will hope that the Bueckers-Fudd connection can lead them on a deep run.
