Donald Trump rages ‘who the hell’ to JD Vance as lip reader uncovers savage comments
Donald Trump was caught on camera mouthing what appeared to be a furious tirade directed at JD Vance during the funeral service for Senator Lindsey Graham, according to a professional lip reader.
The former South Carolina senator passed away at the age of 71 on July 11, with his funeral taking place at the Washington National Cathedral on Tuesday. Trump and Vice President Vance were seated side by side throughout the service, but Melania Trump was branded a ‘disgrace’ for her decision.

Concerns over Trump’s health were further fueled after he appeared to doze off during the ceremony – not the first occasion he has allegedly been spotted nodding off at high-profile public events. It comes as a raging Trump’s comment to JD Vance during Lindsey Graham’s funeral was exposed by a lip reader.

A lip reader has now claimed to have detected a particularly cutting exchange between Trump and Vance while Pastor Tim Tate was delivering his address.
Speaking to Reach, lip reader Jeremy Freeman alleged that Trump said: “Who the hell booked this man…” To which Vance, joining the congregation’s response, replied: “Amen.”
Freeman further claimed Trump went on to say: “I can’t believe this…he bores me…can you believe it.”
Vance’s response to this remark remains unclear, reports the Mirror US.
Trump and Graham were once bitter political opponents, with Graham having been among the President’s harshest critics during the 2016 Republican primary race. However, the two men later became close political allies.
Graham went on to serve as a key foreign policy adviser to Trump – particularly regarding Iran and Ukraine – and played a pivotal role in championing Trump’s Supreme Court nominations, most notably during the deeply divisive confirmation hearing of Justice Brett Kavanaugh.
At the funeral, President Trump delivered a poignant final goodbye by gently tapping the coffin as he passed by – but not before delivering an unconventional eulogy from the podium.
“Virtually everyone, Republican or Democrat, liked Lindsey,” Trump said. “Well, not everybody. But it sounds good. He was a tough cookie. I have to be honest. I have to veer from this for a second.”
Trump proceeded to read out Graham’s personal phone number to the congregation, “if anybody wants to give it a shot.”
The remark drew laughter from those gathered. Trump continued, noting that Graham’s phone “exploded”. He added: “That was the beginning of our friendship in a way. But it was Lindsey who had the last laugh because while I blew up his phone for one day, we became great friends, and Lindsey did not stop calling me for the next 10 years.”
Separately, Trump also met with Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy to discuss the ongoing conflict between Ukraine and Russia.
In the wake of the meeting, Zelenskyy revealed that Trump had agreed to provide his nation with licenses to manufacture Patriot missiles – an air defense system considered vital to protecting major urban centers, including Kyiv.
While no official confirmation has been issued by the U.S., Zelenskyy told Fox News: “He accepted that he will give us licences and then I had a meeting with representatives of production, very strong military companies of the United States. “I hope that we will do co-production.”
It comes as Lara Trump’s funeral dress was slammed for being ‘disrespectful’ at Graham’s service.
