It was the sweetest “family” reunion!
The cast of Full House reunited over the weekend at The Nostalgia Con in Orlando, Fla. In a TikTok video shared by John Stamos, he, Lori Loughlin, Jodie Sweetin, Dave Coulier and Andrea Barber took part in a dance trend. In the video, they moved their heads in rhythm to the song “Gonna Make You Sweat (Everybody Dance Now)” by C+C Music Factory before, as the song’s lyrics commanded, dancing together.
Stamos, 62, wrote in the video’s caption, “Threw our necks out for this.”
The reunion of the cast marked the first major gathering of the costars since Coulier, 66, shared that he had ended his cancer treatment. Coulier, who played Joey Gladstone on the hit sitcom, told PEOPLE in November 2024 that he had been diagnosed with stage 3 non-Hodgkin lymphoma. Five months later, he announced he was cancer-free. However, in December 2025, he announced that he had been diagnosed with tongue cancer. In February 2026, he revealed that he was in remission.
In May, Coulier posted a video update on Instagram, noting that he had waited a while before posting again. “The last time I did some of you said that I look differently, and I sound differently, and I do,” he said.
“What you’re seeing is the side effects of extensive radiation that I went through for carcinoma in my throat,” he shared. “I haven’t been able to eat solid food in months. So I’ve lost 45 pounds, that’s what you’re seeing.” He also said that his cancer treatment affected his voice as well.
In July, he opened up to Maria Menounos on an episode of her Heal Squad podcast about feeling “disappointed” when he learned he had been diagnosed with a second, unrelated cancer.
Still, the comedian said, “Cancer can take a lot of things from you. The one thing cancer is not going to take away from me is my sense of humor.” At the time, he was six months post-radiation and admitted he still felt “pain.”
Amid Coulier’s cancer journey, his Full House costars provided support. Stamos, who played Uncle Jesse on the show, wore a bald cap in solidarity with Coulier, who shaved his head before cancer treatment in 2024.
Full House starred the late Bob Saget as Danny Tanner, the widowed single dad of DJ (Candace Cameron Bure), Stephanie (Sweetin) and Michelle (Mary-Kate and Ashley Olsen), who raises his girls with help from Jesse, his brother-in-law, and Joey, his best friend. Barber, 50, played the family’s next-door neighbor Kimmy Gibbler and Loughlin, 62, played Jesse’s love interest (and ultimately his wife), Rebecca Donaldson. Blake and Dylan Tuomy-Wilhoit played the couple’s children, Nicky and Alex. Full House also starred Scott Weinger as Steve Hale, DJ’s boyfriend.
Full House ran from 1987 to 1995, for eight seasons and almost 200 episodes. After the show finished airing, it became a cultural touchstone while in syndication.
Years later, most of the cast reunited for a sequel series, Fuller House, which aired on Netflix from 2016 to 2020, for five seasons. The series starred Bure, Sweetin and Barber raising DJ and Kimmy’s children, with Saget, Stamos, Coulier and Loughlin making guest appearances. Weinger, Blake and Dylan also appeared on the series.
