Charlie Sheen surprises fans with a drastic new face and neck lift before returning to Hollywood

Charlie Sheen has surprised fans with a noticeable change to his appearance after undergoing a facial and neck rejuvenation procedure ahead of his return to the spotlight.

The actor, best known for starring in Two and a Half Men and Wall Street, recently turned to plastic surgeons Dr. Yan Trokel and Dr. Yuly Gorodisky for a procedure called SurgYlift. According to the doctors, Sheen was looking for a way to improve the appearance of his face and neck without undergoing a traditional facelift that would leave visible scars.

The decision reportedly came after Sheen saw himself on television during the premiere of his show Bookie. The actor became particularly focused on the appearance of his neck, which he jokingly referred to as his “turkey neck.” This comes as the actor teams up with his famous father for a new series.

After considering different options over the years, Sheen opted for the less invasive procedure, which combines two separate techniques designed to improve the jawline and neck.

The first part of the treatment is known as the Y LIFT, or Closed Facelift. The technique uses a tool developed by Dr. Trokel to help shape the jawline and lift the upper portion of the neck.

The second part is the G-Stitch Neck Suspension, performed by Dr. Gorodisky. The procedure combines liposuction to remove excess fat, the G-Stitch technique to address the muscle bands in the neck and Renuvion, which uses plasma energy to tighten the skin.

The combination was intended to give Sheen a more defined neck and jawline while maintaining his existing appearance.

Sheen’s doctor said avoiding obvious signs of surgery was reportedly an important part of the decision. Dr. Gorodisky explained that many male patients are reluctant to undergo traditional neck lift procedures because of the incisions that can be made around the ears.

Dr. Trokel also stressed that the goal was not to dramatically change the actor’s face. “We wanted to keep his character exactly the same.” They both said the final result was designed to look natural rather than give Sheen a completely different appearance.

Fans reacted to the procedure in the comments of the doctor’s Instagram post. One person said, “Great results doctor!” “Bro is winning,” someone else said, adding fire emojis.

Sheen returned to television recently with Bookie, the HBO Max comedy series created by Chuck Lorre and Nick Bakay. Sheen played a fictionalized version of himself on the show, making his appearance particularly important to the actor.

His decision to undergo the treatment was reportedly driven by how he felt about seeing himself on camera rather than simply wanting to look younger.

According to the doctors, Sheen wanted an option that would improve the area around his jaw and neck while fitting with his preference for a procedure without the visible scarring associated with more traditional surgery. Following the treatment, Sheen said the results gave him back a level of confidence he had not felt in a long time.
