Madison Beer and Justin Herbert are engaged to be married.

The pop star and the NFL quarterback, who have only been publicly dating for about a year, announced their engagement on social media earlier this summer, ahead of training camp. Herbert proposed to Beer earlier in July. They’re the latest NFL power couple to get engaged, joining Travis Kelce and Taylor Swift, who married earlier this summer.

Beer showed off her engagement photo on Instagram shortly after the news broke. However, we’ve since gotten better, closer photos of the estimated $1 million engagement ring.

Beer, 27, attended Variety’s Power of Young Hollywood 2026 party at The Four Seasons Hotel Los Angeles on Wednesday.

According to Page Six, Beer’s ring is “an elongated cushion-cut diamond weighing between 10 and 15 carats, giving the ring an estimated value between $700,000 and $1.2 million.”

That specific cut of diamond is “much rarer than a traditional cushion and creates a graceful, finger-lengthening effect,” jewelry designer Logan Hollowell told Page Six Style.

Herbert’s public PDA with Beer sparks concern, though

Earlier this week, Herbert and Beer were seen canoodling on the field after Chargers practice, sparking concern from Fox Sports 1’s Chris Broussard.

“This could have led the show,” Broussard said. “This has to be a joke. Like, I mean, were they just doing that? Like, having fun? You can’t let that happen. I’m sorry. I get it. You’re in love and all that, but come on!”

He added: “That’s kissy-poo! That is not ‘you got something in your hair’ because it looks like he’s rubbing her hair, too, or something. I mean, that is footsy. […] Where’s [Chargers head coach Jim] Harbaugh? Where is he at? Mike McDaniel, I’ve been singing your praises all offseason! This is what you let happen? Come on. I’m serious. I’m not even trying to be funny.”The couple appears to be very happy, there’s no doubt about that.
