As soon as Phaedra Parks nicknamed CT Tamburello “Castle Daddy” on season 2 of The Traitors, fans wondered if there could be something romantic between them. Now, over two years after the finale aired—and CT won the game alongside Trishelle Cannatella—the reality stars have confirmed that they are dating.

And after sharing the news, CT and Phaedra went right ahead and made their red carpet debut as a couple, posing for photos that really show off their serious modeling faces.

But when did this happen? How long have they been together? Did CT go from Castle Daddy to IRL Boyfriend right away? Let’s take a look at everything we know about this reality TV crossover event.

First, some background on the reality TV veterans.

If you aren’t familiar with Phaedra and CT—or if you’re more familiar with one compared to the other—here are the basics:

Phaedra is best known for starring on The Real Housewives of Atlanta from 2010 to 2017. She rejoined the show in 2025—after a two-season stint on Married to Medicine—and she remains a current RHOA cast member. Phaedra joined the Bravo series as an attorney, but she’s since taken on a few other careers and gigs, including becoming a mortician and releasing a workout video.

CT comes from another side of reality TV. He starred on The Real World back in 2003 and went on to join its spinoff competition show The Challenge. Challenge contestants often compete in many seasons of the show, and CT is one of the most decorated players. He has won five seasons of the original series and two spinoff seasons.

What were they like on The Traitors?

Phaedra and CT became friends during their Traitors season, which aired in early 2024, and there seemed to be a flirtation between them, too.

But, in a March 2024 interview with Entertainment Weekly, CT said that nothing serious was going on.

“No, nothing real happened, I’ll be honest with you,” he said. “It was fun. I loved her because she’s a cornball. She was great. I would say there was a sense of sincerity, for sure. But it was also playing a game, you know?”

Meanwhile, host Alan Cumming had stronger words about the potential of a relationship between the two.

“I think there’s as much chance of a romance between CT and Phaedra as there’s between me and CT or me and Phaedra, actually,” he told People at the time. “But they’re a funny little odd couple and they’re very affectionate.”

What was their relationship post-Traitors?

Well, basically all we know is that they didn’t start dating right away. In fact, CT got married to Catalina White in October 2024…only for her to file for divorce in January 2026. (A lot can happen in two years!)

As for Phaedra, she did some dating in the time since Traitors aired, including a relationship with a man named Cheick Kone. He appeared briefly on Married to Medicine and RHOA.

Phaedra did comment on CT while speaking to Interview in May 2025. “He was one of the best things that ever happened during my season of The Traitors,” she said. “I probably would’ve killed myself had it not been for CT’s encouragement. And he’s got the best head of hair you’ve ever seen.”

How did CT and Phaedra confirm they were dating?

Phaedra confirmed her relationship with CT during an appearance on Jeff Lewis Live. She said that they started dating “probably since the last time I came out here,” meaning Los Angeles.

Obviously, that’s a pretty vague answer and Phaedra didn’t share much else, but fans got to see the couple in action when they attended the Creative Arts Emmys together on Saturday, September 5.

What do their exes think?

Phaedra’s marriage to ex-husband Apollo Nida (which ended back in 2014) was heavily documented on RHOA, including them welcoming their two children together. Apollo told TMZ that he’s happy for Phaedra and is cool with CT as long as he treats Phaedra and their kids well.

CT’s ex, Catalina, also spoke to TMZ and said, “I genuinely wish Chris well in whatever relationship or career he chooses to pursue. I’m not interested in commenting on whether his new relationship is real, for publicity, or anything in between.”

But, she did comment on wanting him to hurry up and finalize their divorce, noting, “What I would like is for him to put the same energy into ending our marriage that he’s putting into publicly promoting his new relationship.” (I’m thinking she probably wasn’t a huge fan of the Emmys pics…).
