Going viral on a college football broadcast can pay off in a big way these days.

Saturday afternoon, an unidentified blonde went viral in the stands of the Florida vs. Ole Miss game. By Sunday morning, the fan had been identified on social media. She had a notable following on Instagram – around 10,000 followers – but that’s hardly significant in today’s age.

Roughly 24 hours later, her followers count has exploded by more than 300 percent, as her numbers continue to skyrocket.

Peyton Blomquist, an Orlando native and Gators fan, has been identified as the young woman who went viral in the stands in Gainesville, Florida on Saturday.

The University of Florida fan shouted out her viral moment on her Instagram Story on Sunday morning, after gaining a ton of traction on social media.

“Go Gators,” she wrote.

The Florida fan has gained more than 25,000 followers

The Florida fan had around 10,000 followers on Sunday morning. By Monday morning, she has more than 35,000.

“Work the cut,” she posted on Sunday.

College football fans have been quick to notice her on social media, too.

“ESPN camera man started wildin’ when he saw this cut 😂,” one fan joked.

“I was wondering why this popped up on my feed and then slide 6 answered my question 😂,” one fan added.

“She’s at 25k now bruh when I last checked she was under 15k ,” one fan added.

“What are you going to call you meme coin 😂🤝,” another fan joked on social media.

“Bro im so tired of instagram I see one post of her on espn and now the girl is on my for you page,” one fan added.

Ultimately, going viral during sporting events can pay off in a big way, as she’s growing her followers count and can probably start to land some brand deals and actually make money off of her viral moment.
