Unrecognizable Emmy winner flaunts major weight loss amid Hollywood Ozempic craze… who is she?
This Emmy-winning actress looked unrecognizable as she stepped out in New York City last Wednesday.
The 65-year-old star showcased her smaller frame in blue jeans as she posed with similarly slimmed-down Ricki Lake at the opening night of Rosie O’Donnell’s one-woman show Common Knowledge.

The New Jersey-born, Illinois-raised entertainer rocked a pair of eyeglasses and wore her hair slicked back.
She’s best known for her roles in ABC’s The Practice, NBC’s Law & Order, Todd Solondz’s 1998 dark satire Happiness, and David Zucker’s 2003 slasher parody Scary Movie 3.
She also starred in Lasse Hallström’s 2005 family drama An Unfinished Life.
Can you guess who she is?
It’s Camryn Manheim, who’s transformed her 5-foot-10 form in the last four years.
The Daily Mail has reached out to the three-time Actor Award nominee’s rep for comment, but did not immediately hear back.
Back in 1998, Manheim – born Debra Frances Manheim – famously declared: ‘This is for all the fat girls,’ while accepting her trophy for portraying defense attorney Ellenor Frutt in The Practice.
‘My platform is not fat acceptance, it’s self-acceptance,’ the Murder in a Small Town guest star, then a size 22, told the New York Times in 1999.
‘My weight is being celebrated.’
In her 1999 memoir Wake Up, I’m Fat! – Manheim wrote about nearly killing herself by taking crystal meth in order to shed 70lbs while starring in a Tony Kushner-directed play at NYU’s Tisch School for the Arts.
The Golden Globe winner recently returned from a European vacation where she looked slimmer than ever while hanging with gal pals.
While in Spain, Manheim visited her son Milo Manheim on the set of Disney’s live-action adaptation of Tangled, in which he plays Flynn Rider.
The avid bicyclist welcomed the 25-year-old School Spirits star in 2001 via sperm donation from her friend, former model Jeffrey Brezovar.
‘She’s a single mom. I’m an only child. I spent the first 18 years of my life with her every day,’ Milo told People in 2024.
‘What makes our connection so special is that we’re both willing to put in the work and that we have spent so many years actively working on our relationship… We make each other better, bottom line.’
Manheim will soon reprise her role as the giddy organizer Toby Walters in 20th Century Studios’ long-awaited sequel to David Mirkin’s 1997 comedy, Romy and Michele’s High School Reunion.
‘So thrilled to announce, “the band has gotten back together,”‘ the ASL translator wrote to her 141,000 Instagram followers.
‘Can’t wait to share this hilarious and magical film with you.’
The Daily Mail obtained exclusive photos on June 17 of Lisa Kudrow and Mira Sorvino in costume as the titular characters ready for the 40th reunion at the fictional Sagebrush High School in Tucson, Arizona.
Original stars Janeane Garofalo, Alan Cumming and Julia Campbell will also return for Tim Federle’s continuation.
Manheim has also shot her role as enigmatic Cape Cod luxury resort owner Vera Preston in Laurence Vannicelli’s upcoming psychological horror film, Deluxe Ocean View.
