Fox News contributor Johnny “Joey” Jones accidentally embarrassed Donald Trump during interviews with potential voters.

On the September 28 broadcast of Jesse Watters Primetime, 28-year-old Jones spoke with multiple students at Cornell University in Ithaca, New York. His original goal was to ridicule left-wing political commentator Hasan Piker, 35, during the segment.

Piker had appeared on campus on September 24. However, the on-campus conversations quickly pivoted to President Trump, 80. Cornell students were consistent in their responses when Jones posed the question, “What is your opinion of President Trump?” It comes as Karoline Leavitt appeared on Fox News and made a huge gaffe live on air.

One student erupted in laughter while another declared, “Donald Trump is a fascist,” characterizing the president as a far-right authoritarian. The embarrassing responses continued as a third student’s profanity-laced comments needed censoring before she concluded, “He has to get out of office.”

These reactions come from eligible voters preparing for the midterm elections in November. This trip to Cornell University isn’t the first time the network has undermined the president.

On September 23, the White House broadcast a meeting between President Trump and Chinese President Xi Jinping via social media. However, numerous major networks opted against covering the diplomatic visit.

Fox News was among the broadcasters that distanced themselves from Trump after his White House media ban. The president and First Lady Melania Trump welcomed Chinese President Xi Jinping and his wife, Peng Liyuan, at Joint Base Andrews in Maryland.

Real America’s Voice and One America News Network decided to broadcast the event. Meanwhile, CNN, Fox News and MS NOW declined to show the greeting.

On September 18, Trump declared on his Truth Social platform that he was barring MS NOW, CNN and Politico from the White House “as a result of their constant ‘reporting’ FAKE NEWS.”

He had also indicated that other media outlets might face similar restrictions in the weeks ahead. Yet on September 24, federal Judge Timothy Kelly commanded the president to immediately reinstate CNN, MS Now and Politico’s White House access.

Kelly determined the ban was enacted without “constitutionally adequate due process.” The judge stated in the ruling, “The ‘general rule’ is that ‘individuals must receive notice and an opportunity to be heard before the Government deprives them’ of a constitutionally protected interest.”

During the hearing, an attorney representing the news organizations contended that the ban violated due process and stemmed from the president’s personal hostility toward the journalists.
