Donald Trump sparks wild ‘exoskeleton’ theory as president can ‘barely walk’
Donald Trump has sparked fresh concerns for his health as the 80-year-old president is accused of struggling to walk unaided.
Trump appeared at the White House Rose Garden on Monday to host a “back to school” event alongside Department of Education Secretary Linda McMahon. Cameras captured the president departing as a live band played YMCA. Trump could be seen taking slow, heavy strides and repeated the same leg-tapping motion he has been spotted doing repeatedly in recent weeks.

A clip of the moment circulating on X sparked concern among observers. “Dude can barely walk at this point, hunched over, patting his legs,” one X user noted. It comes after the daughter of Trump’s doctor made a bombshell claim about his health.

“He can barely walk,” a second commented. “There’s that leg slap. Every time they get him where he needs to go without falling like he probably should, he does that now,” a third wrote.
“Slow motion Trump, looking pathetic, exhausted, and a little out of breath in new and larger way,” another said. “Looks a little defeated and exhausted,” someone else pointed out.
The moment came just a day after another video on X sparked a wild theory that the president could be using an exoskeleton. The video showed a 90-year-old Korean War veteran testing a new type of exoskeleton at the 2026 World Robotics Conference in Beijing.
Users in the comments suggested that Trump could be using the same piece of robotic equipment after a mysterious bulge was recently spotted at the back of his suit jacket.
“Trump wears a similar exoskeleton because it pushes the jacket back in the pelvic area,” one claimed. “I think that’s a similar device that Trump used in one event, showing at his waist,” a second commented.”Trump is now a disabled old man whose loose clothing conceals a more complex exoskeleton with a spine-stiffening module on his back, near his pelvis, forcing him to wear a loose jacket that flares out at the back,” another alleged as they shared a video taken during an event Trump attended in Garden City, New York, earlier this month. The footage, which was initially shared by outgoing White House press secretary Karoline Leavitt, showed Trump walking off stage during a rally-style event for Bruce Blakeman, the Nassau County executive running for governor against the incumbent Democrat Kathy Hochul, to interact with supporters in the audience.
But it quickly went viral after viewers noticed the backside of his suit visibly bulging as he walked. The clip sparked wild theories online of the president hiding “contraptions” ranging from a catheter to an exoskeleton or even heart failure equipment.
Despite the mounting speculation, the White House continues to dismiss concerns about Trump’s health and insists he remains in “excellent” condition. Meanwhile, a lip reader uncovered Donald and Melania Trump’s ‘tense’ exchange after the first lady returned to public life after a 31-day absence.
