Donald Trump’s shocked staff ask ‘is she allowed’ as Natalie Harp lands ‘special perk’
Donald Trump’s staff were allegedly left astonished after Natalie Harp and her mother received a “special perk” at Mar-a-Lago, it’s been claimed. Attention surrounding the US President’s dedicated and “ever-present” aide continues to dominate news coverage.

Questions have intensified regarding the character of their relationship, with her estranged brother, Preston Harp, indicating her commitment amounted to on an “unhealthy obsession”.
Harp’s responsibilities include drafting Trump’s social media posts, providing him with printed copies of materials – reportedly earing her the moniker ‘the Human Printer’ – and accompanying him on golf outings and trips to his Florida estate, Mar-a-Lago, in Palm Beach, Florida. It comes after The White House was accused of keeping Harp out of its social media posts.

Mar-a-Lago also serves as the backdrop for an assertion by author Michael Wolff. Michael previously secured access to the administration during Trump’s initial term for his 2018 book, Fire and Fury: Inside the Trump White House.
He now makes frequent contributions to The Daily Beast’s Inside Trump’s Head podcast. Establishing context for his assertion, Wolff observed that Mar-a-Lago “doesn’t have a golf course” as he presented a story about the “special perk” Harp reportedly benefits from.
Wolff observed that members wanting to play golf must travel to a nearby club – likely Trump International Golf Club, West Palm Beach, situated roughly 4.5 miles away. And every Sunday, the club hosts an “over the top” buffet.
In fact, it’s allegedly so remarkable that it leaves his staff members “teary-eyed” because they’re barred from attending. “At the golf club, there is one such buffet just over the top. And people talk about it, especially the staffers.
“Like, I mean, they get teary-eyed; their eyes roll back because they’re actually not allowed to go to the buffet. No, but they talk about it, and they say, a lobster. You get a full lobster and can go back for a second if you’re allowed into the buffet.”
Michael, however, claimed that there are two glaring exceptions: “Natalie – always allowed into the buffet. Not just Natalie, but Natalie with her mother. Every Sunday, showing up for the buffet.
“And among the staff there was like a, ‘Is she allowed to do that? Should she be doing that? And then the people at the golf club serving this are, ‘Should we? She wants this. She says that the president says she can be here, but can she be here?'”
He asserted that Harp’s attendance at the buffet became a “major moment” in Trump’s presidential campaign. Podcast host Joanna Coles quipped in response that this struck her as “odd” because Harp doesn’t appear like she “eats very much”.
Michael’s assertion of special access follows revelations in the 2026 book Regime Change by New York Times journalists Maggie Haberman and Jonathan Swan, which claimed Harp had penned private letters to the POTUS.
In one message, Harp is said to have written: “You are all that matters to me.” Speculation surrounding their apparent closeness has intensified, driven , in part, by her constant presence within Trump’s inner circle.
Offering his own insight into his sister’s connection with Trump, Preston Harp previously revealed to CNN’s Erin Burnett: “I’d say since she was like 16, she’s had an obsession with, gosh, how do I explain this? She’s written letters to other presidents, let me put it that way. And so, like, her dream came true finally.”
