Donnie Wahlberg and Jenny McCarthy are preparing to say goodbye to their longtime Chicago-area home.

The New Kids on the Block singer, 57, and the I’m Too Hot for This S#!+ author, 53, have listed their Tudor-style mansion in St. Charles, Ill., for $2.8 million. PEOPLE previously got an exclusive tour of the 7,236-square-foot home, which the couple has owned since 2015, after they extensively renovated it.

Nestled in a quiet suburb outside of Chicago, the stars’ four-bedroom, six-bathroom abode is set on nearly 1.3 acres of land and is surrounded by lush greenery in the desirable Woods of Fox Glen. The property also features a home theater, gym, sauna, cold plunge, putting green and a dazzling pool with a waterslide and hot tub.

The couple, who celebrated their 12-year wedding anniversary in August, previously worked with Chicago-based designer John Wolf of Wolf Home Design to help incorporate their “music man-meets-glam fashion” aesthetic into their home while still keeping it functional for their family, they told PEOPLE in 2019.

At the time, the pair expressed how their house — which was the first property they looked at together — served as an extension of the love and gratitude they have for each other.

“This isn’t an extravagant home, but there’s no greater symbol of our love for each other than this house and how much love has gone into it,” Wahlberg said, adding that he and McCarthy discussed their longing to have a “small town life” when they first met.

“We made it a goal for ourselves and said it out loud because we wanted to make it happen. And here we are, together with our kids, and we’re grateful for every bit of it,” he shared. Signature touches that the pair added throughout their renovations are still in the home today, including the “D” and “J”-shaped door handles and a poker table with their names on it.

In an exclusive interview with PEOPLE published in December 2025, Wahlberg discussed the possibility of moving to California to be near his sons.

“I have a 24-year-old son and I can’t tell you how many times he’s asked me in the last year to move back to California to be close to him,” he said at the time. Wahlberg shares two adult sons, Xavier and Elijah, with his first wife Kim Fey, while McCarthy has one son, Evan, from her previous marriage to John Asher.

“Probably the only thing that could ever get me back to California is my two sons. And if they keep asking, Jenny and I are going to start going on realtor.com and figuring things out,” he added.
