Erika Kirk, who’s the widow of famous conservative media personality and Turning Point USA founder Charlie Kirk, recently went viral after a video of her discussing the “porn industry” resurfaced.

Since the 37-year-old married Charlie, who was assassinated at 31 in September 2025, in 2021, she has presented herself as a traditional wife with very conservative Christian values. So when footage of Erika speaking highly of adult entertainers was unearthed, it’s no surprise that social media exploded with commentary.

The circulating clip, which is said to have been filmed during a 2012 interview Erika did way before she got married, showed her looking glamorously done up while talking porn.

“I have respect for the individuals that are in the pornography industry,” Erika said at the time.

“Not because they’re degrading women or anything like that but because that’s their field and they’re professionals. So I give them credit for being able to have a job and make money and stimulate the economy that way,” she added.

This video was unearthed shortly after Erika was interrupted while addressing attendees at Turning Point USA’s Women’s Leadership Summit after a heckler disrupted her presentation with accusations she protected pedophiles.

The disruptor repeatedly yelled the claim “Erika Kirk protects pedophiles,” while delivering a 17-minute address at the event, where she covered topics including conservative values and faith in June.

Erika, who’s become the new CEO of Charlie’s Turning Point USA since his death, responded to the heckler with laughing, getting back up from fellow Women’s Leadership Summit participants.

Audience members began shouting back at the interruptor, telling them to “go away” and to “get out of here,” while additional crowd members began booing the disruptor.

However, the beauty queen stayed silent amid watching the situation unfold before she continued with her address, seemingly adjusting her comments amid subtly taking aim at the trouble maker.

“It’s important to remember that happiness comes and goes and I pray that you find it,” Erika said. After that, Erika got a standing ovation, going on to tell the crowd, “Love you guys. That’s an important moment because that just showed duty to faithfulness gives life meaning. “

She went on, “And we must pray for our enemies and those that do not feel like their life has meaning. And that’s a perfect example of that. A perfect example. You pray for your enemies. You pray for those that persecute you.”

Earlier in her speech, Erika then noting that she felt her heckler was “not the enemy,” before adding, “We know who the real enemy is.”
