A popular online content creator will spend a year behind federal bars after evading more than $1.5 million in income taxes, federal prosecutors announced Thursday.

Kylie Perez, known online as “Natalie Monroe,” was sentenced by U.S. District Judge Thomas P. Barber to one year in prison followed by one year of supervised release for filing a false tax return.

Perez pleaded guilty to the charge on May 20, 2026, according to a statement from U.S. Attorney Gregory W. Kehoe.

Court documents show that Perez earned over $5.4 million between 2019 and 2023 through her presence on OnlyFans, where creators monetize photos, videos, live streams, and direct viewer tips.

Despite those earnings, federal authorities said Perez carried out a scheme to evade tax assessments. She submitted a false return for the 2019 tax year and failed to pay at least $1.5 million in taxes due between 2020 and 2023.

“Evading the payment of owed income tax is a violation of our federal tax laws,” Kehoe said. “We will continue to prosecute those who purposely commit these crimes.”

Ron Loecker, Special Agent in Charge of IRS Criminal Investigation’s Florida Field Office, noted that investigators remain focused on unpaid tax liabilities.

“When someone chooses personal luxury over meeting their tax obligations, the consequences are inevitable,” Loecker said. “IRS CI Special Agents will continue to uncover the truth and safeguard the integrity of the tax system for all law-abiding taxpayers.”

The case was investigated by IRS Criminal Investigation and prosecuted by Assistant U.S. Attorney Merrilyn E. Hoenemeyer.

The prosecution aligns with broader federal enforcement actions, including the Department of Justice’s National Fraud Enforcement Division launched on April 7. The division works alongside the federal Task Force to Eliminate Fraud, chaired by Vice President J.D. Vance, targeting waste, abuse, and unpaid financial obligations across government systems.
