‘I’m too hot to date’ says Birmingham woman who claims men are scared of her
A woman who claims men are “scared” off because she is “too hot” says she receives more serious attention as a brunette — while blondes like Sydney Sweeney are viewed as “sex symbols.”
Shirley Rosemary Flynn, 46, from Birmingham, understands how to draw male attention through her online presence, utilizing various wigs to transform her appearance.

Flynn, who is employed in customer service, reveals she hasn’t been on a date in seven years because men are “scared” of her.

Despite experimenting with different looks and her digital footprint, it hasn’t helped her find a partner.
She said, “Men have different preferences. I find that when I wear my blonde wigs men get turned on more, especially when blondes have big boobs, like me.”
“Men don’t take women with blonde hair seriously, just look at Sydney Sweeney, they tend to see them as sex symbols.”
“When women have dark hair they’re taken more seriously, men tend to find them more of a challenge.”
Flynn previously told Talk to the Press that women perceive her as a threat, while men regard her as more of a challenge.
She maintains that middle-aged women online harbor jealousy toward her confidence, though younger women “couldn’t give two hoots.”
She dismisses criticism, having placed second and third in online “hot competitions” and feels no need to prove she’s never undergone cosmetic procedures.
Flynn said, “If you look at any woman that’s confident, Kim Kardashian, or Madonna, it was always the older women that seemed to have a problem.”
“Men fantasize about me, but if we arrange to link up, they tend to shy away.”
“I try to meet older guys now, but they’re just scared.”
Flynn hopes to be taken more seriously and find a long-term partner. She’s searching for someone who’s genuine and reliable in their actions and intentions.
Flynn said, “They probably just see me sort of like, as a man eater.”
“There was a lot of them jokes in the last post that I did, because of me being a plus-size woman.”
The younger men who contact Flynn online appear to want only one thing, she claims. She also alleges that celebrities have attempted to arrange meetings with her, but even they lose their nerve. Despite her struggles in romance, she remains determined to find a partner seven years on — even though people doubt it’s been that long.
She said, “I just think men think I’m lying and I’m not lying. I just wouldn’t jump into it with anyone.”
