Katie Holmes and her boyfriend Jason Bard Yarmosky stepped out for their first red carpet date night. The pair posed together at the 2026 Guild Hall Summer Gala on August 7 in East Hampton where they wore complementary black and white looks.

Holmes opted for a summery strapless white textured dress that featured a fringe lining around the neck and the ankle-length column skirt. She paired the boho dress with a small white shoulder bag and a center-parted low updo, and opted to go sans jewelry.

Meanwhile, her American artist boyfriend wore an all-black ensemble with a pop of red in his cravat.

Although this was the couple’s first red carpet date night, they recently had their first public date night at a Ferragamo event hosted by Gabrielle Union-Wade at Topping Rose House in Bridgehampton, where they wore matching navy looks with bright orange details. “I think we just have similar taste,” Holmes told Elle at the event of their coordinated looks.

The pair have been linked since July. They were first spotted together holding hands in the Hamptons and attending a screening of The Invite.

“He was whispering in her ear, and she was laughing, they seemed very easy together and there was a smile on her face all night,” a source told People of their first outing. “They sat together during the movie, she had her head on his shoulder at one point. They looked very cute.”

A few days later, they were spotted again enjoying dinner in New York. “Katie and Jason looked so happy after dinner walking together, hugging, smiling at each other, and patting each other on the back,” another source told People. “Jason even gently opened the car door for her to get in. They looked so happy and in love.”
