Lara Trump accused of using ‘AI filters’ in new workout picture as she shows off smooth complexion
Lara Trump has been accused of using “AI filters” after she posted a new picture of herself pumping iron in a vibrant red matching workout set.
President Donald Trump’s daughter-in-law and the wife of Eric Trump flaunted her muscles in a new Instagram post to promote her fitness apparel brand, Lara Trump Collection. Lara, 43, is known for her active lifestyle and hardcore workout routine, which she has regularly shared on social media.

The mother of two appeared in full glam in her promotional shots for her workout brand in a new Instagram post, but her followers questioned whether there was a “filter” on the photos. This comes after Nicki Minaj is said to be in talks to record a song with Lara Trump.

Lara’s workout brand’s Instagram, Lara Trump Collection, collaborated with her on the post, sharing two pictures of her flexing her muscles while lifting 10-pound dumbbells in both hands.
She was promoting her bright red workout top and matching shorts in full glam, with her makeup and hair done.
“Strong women deserve quality that keeps up. LT is built in the USA,” the caption read on the post.
The comment section was less focused on the quality of her activewear brand and more concentrated on whether the promotional pictures were edited with “filters.”
“AI filters going crazy,” one user commented under the post.
“Nauseating,” a second user wrote, while another commented, “It’s the overly fake images.”
“Wowza, what a great filter, and your plastic surgery looks amazing!!!” another user wrote. A fourth wrote, “Too much plastic surgery.”
“Too much!” and “Such trash” were among other comments, criticizing Lara’s post.
Others commended her for her fitness, writing, “Every girl should become a gym girl,” and “A strong, smart, beautiful, intelligent woman.”
The Fox News host — My View with Lara Trump — has posted about her workout routine on Instagram before, including a post showing her completing a CrossFit Murph workout. She detailed in the caption that she ran a mile, then did 100 pull-ups, 200 push-ups, and 300 squats before running another mile, all while wearing a weighted vest.
In a post for The Trump Organization, Lara opened up about her focus on her health, saying, “As an athlete for my entire life, I have always appreciated the way that exercise can affect everything from your physique to your mood. I make it a point (although it’s often a very early point) to start my day with exercise.” She noted that she “competes in triathlons on a regular basis.”
These comments come after Lara was called out after viewers pointed out warped details in a photo of her and her young daughter and her sister-in-law Tiffany Trump from when the Trump family attended the 2026 FIFA World Cup final.
Her followers pointed out strange details in the images, including distorted hands and her daughter’s straw appearing unnaturally long.
Lara addressed the backlash on her Instagram Stories, admitting she used an AI-powered photo-editing app to create the picture.
“When AI takes over…” her post read. “The app I used to fit this in the frame changed my nails and made Carolina’s straw SOOO long.”
