Lara Trump dresses as a literal MAGA Barbie for Halloween after pretty girl top backlash

This Barbie is a MAGA special! The daughter-in-law of President Donald Trump, Lara Trump, 44, took to Instagram on October 31 to give her 2.7 million followers a glimpse into her Halloween celebrations with her family. Lara appeared to take inspiration from Margo Robbie’s Barbie character, dressing as Cowgirl Barbie from the iconic movie.

The not-so-scary ensemble included pink flared pants adorned with stars, a matching pink waistcoat, a bandana tied around her neck, and a brown cowboy hat. Lara also lived up to her other Barbie alter ego, MAGA Barbie, and rocked a full glam consisting of long, fluffy lashes, bronzed skin, and glossy pink lips.

Her look was completed with a pair of white lace-up sneakers and gold jewelry. Posing next to her was her husband Eric, who appeared to be dressed as a NASA astronaut. At the same time, JD Vance was mocked for the “worst” Halloween costume that viewers had ever seen.

Eric Trump wore a black romper decorated with different badges that said NASA, Polaris, and 250 America. The som of President Trump elevated his look with a pair of silver aviator shades.

The couple’s seven-year-old daughter, Carolina, appeared to copy her mom’s Cowgirl Barbie look, wearing a similar pink pants and waistcoat co-ord.

Luke, the pair’s nine-year-old son, was dressed in a black hoodie with matching joggers, complete with a light-up mask featuring yellow and red shapes. It’s not clear what he was dressed up as.

It seemed Lara didn’t know either, as she captioned the post, “still don’t know what Luke was supposed to be but, hope everyone had a Happy Halloween!” followed by a pumpkin and face with tongue out emoji.

Lara also added a series of pics and videos showing the family out trick-or-treating with other children and a loved-up selfie of herself with Eric.

Hundreds of the family’s fans were quick to share their thoughts on the pics. One user penned in the comments, “LOL. Happy Halloween. Love the costumes.”

“Looking good. Liking the NASA patch! [American flag emoji],” wrote a second person, prompting a third to chime in, “Looking good guys.”

Seemingly referring to Luke, someone else joked, “He was just making up his own character,” as another added, “[Laughing face emoji] It works for the little man.”

A few hours prior, Lara took her Instagram to post a snap from her time at President Trump’s rally in Florida. The 80-year-old leader spoke on Friday, October 30, in Daytona Beach, championing Republican candidates in the state ahead of the November midterm elections.

“Friday night with grandpa,” Lara captioned the photo of herself with her husband, Eric, and their two children, in which she wore a black T-shirt reading “pretty girls vote red.”

“Pretty girls vote red? Ridiculous and desperate,” wrote one user, who slammed her on X, in response to Lara’s post. “So much cringe. One does not proclaim themselves pretty. Pretty is a compliment bestowed on you by others. You’re all so bad at being human,” declared another.
