Lara Trump’s ‘weird photo’ with husband Eric sparks concern as fans say ‘let her go’

Lara Trump shocked fans as she shared a photo posing with her husband, Eric Trump.

The Fox News host posted a round-up of her summer moments on Instagram on Wednesday, August 5, sharing multiple family photos. In one image, Lara grinned with two friends as they enjoyed some delicious-looking drinks, while another photo captured Lara taking part in her favorite pastime; horseback riding.

She also shared photos of her two children – Eric “Luke” Trump and Carolina Dorothy Trump. It was the opening Instagram photo that grabbed followers’ attention, however, as her husband Eric was pictured grabbing his wife’s arms as they posed for the camera. It comes after Lara explained why she looked “bored” at Lindsey Graham’s funeral.

In the image, Eric and Lara both looked in the same direction, with Lara positioned in front of her husband. Eric then gripped his wife’s arms in what looked like a restraint. The stance didn’t escape followers’ notice, as one person joked in the comments, “Eric let her go!”

Another Instagram user remarked, “Such an awkward picture pose,” while someone else repeated, “Perhaps the weirdest pose ever.” A fourth critic noted, “What a weird photo.”

Not everyone was critical of the post, however, as one fan remarked, “We love you guys!!!” and included a row of red heart emojis. One fan noted, “Lovely couple!” as someone else expressed, “Love is one of the most important thing on earth, congratulations sir and ma.”

Lara’s most recent Instagram post follows her firing back at claims that she appeared “bored” at Lindsey Graham’s funeral. The 43-year-old faced criticism after she was seen apparently checking her watch during the funeral on Tuesday, July 28. In a new video shared on X, Lara revealed she had a very valid reason for doing so.Lara explained that her children were attending camp in New York while she was present in Washington, D. C., for the service. She recalled, “Sometime around the middle of this whole thing, it was about two hours plus we were there. I, on my Apple Watch, start getting phone calls, several, from the camp that my kids go to.

“Well, any parent knows that that is not that’s not good. That means there’s a problem. That means they may need to reach me. That means someone is hurt or something.”

Lara continued, “So I did what any parent would do and I tried to very discreetly inquire as to what was going on so that I could at least know that I had the ability to stay seated in the funeral.” She then fumed, “But the only thing you’ll see is, ‘Laura Trump checks her watch’ like I’m checking the time. Get over yourselves.”
