Melania Trump has made a surprising revelation about her husband, Donald Trump, in uncommon remarks about the President.

Appearing on Fox & Friends, the first lady had a seven word verdict on her husband’s second presidency when she remarked: “He’s doing the best that he can.”

Host Brian Kilmeade observed that the US President frequently seeks her perspective on his speeches or interviews after his address to the United Nations General Assembly in New York.

She replied: “I told him he had great delivery; he did very well. And a great speech. So I tell him the truth. Sometimes he doesn’t want to hear what I tell him, but that’s okay. I always say the truth.”

When questioned about how her husband was managing his second term, she stated: “It’s very different, what’s going on around the world now. But I think he’s doing the best that he can.

“He works nonstop. He has the most energy than anybody. He’s from morning until evening nonstop working.”

During his address to the General Assembly, Mr Trump argued that he’s demonstrated strength while other leaders have not, as he justified his decision to initiate a war with Iran, reports the Express.

He also indicated he could be at a pivotal moment in the conflict, even as he urged the Islamic Republic to fully reopen the Strait of Hormuz and return to negotiations to achieve a settlement.

He stated: “I have a big decision to make. Will a deal be made with Iran that lets them rebuild and create a far greater country than it ever was before, maybe one of the greatest in the Middle East or even the world.

“Or do I annihilate the Islamic Republic and do it quickly, never giving them a chance to kill and destroy people and countries again?”.

“The terrorist regime is behaving badly, not because they are strong and confident, but because they are weak and desperate.”

The majority of Iran’s delegation vacated the chamber as Mr. Trump launched his tirade against the Islamic Republic.

The US President also disclosed to reporters that his top envoys, Steve Witkoff and Jared Kushner, held talks with Iranian officials for approximately three hours on the sidelines of the annual gathering.

“It was a very good meeting,” he said. He later added that the Iranian officials were “not the highest level, but it’s something”.
