A wedding recently went viral because of an unexpected shirtless guest watching the ceremony.

A couple said “I do” on July 18 during an outdoor wedding at Estancia La Jolla Hotel & Spa in La Jolla, California. Because the ceremony was held in the Garden Courtyard, hotel guests in lawn-facing rooms were able to watch the celebration from their balconies. One of the “dozens” of curious onlookers, who prefers to remain anonymous, was watching the wedding from the third floor with their boyfriend when the pair spotted a shirtless man viewing the wedding from the building across from them.

Wedding guests faced the stranger, who was overlooking the nuptials and anyone at the wedding could look up and see the man at any point during the ceremony.“The music was playing, and the bridal party made their way down the aisle one by one. And that’s when we noticed him,” the observer tells PEOPLE. “Given where he was standing, my boyfriend and I immediately thought, ‘He’s going to move, right? He has to know he’s standing right at the end of the aisle and that everyone is going to see him?’ ”

The spectator continued, “That’s when I pulled out my phone. I had to capture the moment. And, not to mention, he looked like a supermodel?! My boyfriend and I were in complete disbelief. There was even a woman standing near us who pointed him out too!”

Days later, the onlooker posted their video zooming in on the shirtless man watching the ceremony because they “thought some people might find it funny.” They joked in the caption, “The LORD already testing HER 😭#wedding #bride.”

The clip went viral with over 19.3 million views, 3.7 million likes, and 18,000 comments on TikTok.

“The fact that he looked like a literal model was obviously a huge factor in why the video became so popular,” the onlooker says.

Many users joked in the comments section and that it was the first test of temptation.

“That would be the slowest walk down the aisle,” one person commented.

Another wrote, “I’d walk straight through that bush.”

“Is this a sign?” the official Tinder account teased.

“Unless that’s my husband the wedding is cancelled,” wrote another.
