Trump can ‘barely stand’ at White House after shouting for his doctor amid health concerns

President Donald Trump could “barely stand” as he delivered a surprise address in the White House’s Rose Garden on Thursday afternoon, with many online viewers commenting on his awkward, unstable stance.

Viral video posted on X of the president’s entrance shows him stumbling and swaying as he made his way to the podium. He pauses and half-heartedly dances for a moment, taking in the crowd’s applause as music blares.

But his dance is short-lived, and he appears to sway on his feet as he stands there. At one moment, he looks down, and his eyes droop, but he snaps out of it a second later, then looks around at the small crowd, a smug look on his face.

Journalist Aaron Rupar, who posted the clip, likened the president’s behavior to Saturday Night Live’s signature Cold Open skit.

“Every moment Trump is out in public these days is like an SNL cold open,” he wrote. “This is happening right now.”

The comments section quickly erupted with concerns and criticisms about the president, with one noting, “He can barely stand in place.”

“‘Look Mommy, I put on my big boy pants all by myself!’ — energy,” another wrote. A third added, “Graceful, dignified, elegant. That’s what you could’ve had. Instead you got Trump.”

One issued a double entendre, writing, “His heart doesn’t seem to be in it anymore.”

A fifth summed up what everyone seemed to be thinking: “All this would be funny as hell if he weren’t the president of the United States.”

The strange behavior comes after Trump appeared to call out for his doctor several times during a rally in Arizona on Wednesday afternoon.

“Where’s my doctor?” Trump asked the crowd, examining it before asking again and then looking behind him again.

“He’s always waiting for something to happen,” Trump added before going on a rant about cognitive tests. For around five minutes, the president’s speech was hard to decipher.

His cognitive health was also called into question after he boasted that he was “a genius” for figuring out a simple math problem X users claimed a “2nd grader could solve.”
