As President Donald Trump arrived in Houston on Thursday for a two-day visit, onlookers seemed concerned about the 83-year-old’s hairline.

Trump was widely ridiculed after strong winds caused an awkward, embarrassing moment as he stepped off Marine One. The visit to Texas began with politics and is expected to end with a ceremony honoring the four astronauts behind a historic trip around the Moon on Friday.

However, photos of his hair concerned many on X. “This isn’t natural hair. This is a hostage situation with a blow dryer,” wrote one. “When you zoom in on the ‘hair,’ it’s more like a bed of straw on top of the bald scalp,” another chimed in.

A third ripped, “Looks like that Lake Ontario wind is messing up his hair!” referring to Trump’s earlier renaming of the body of water between the U.S. and Canada to “Lake America.”

The Republican president signed an executive order earlier today directing the Interior Department to update the lake’s name in the U.S. geographic naming service. Trump cannot, however, force Canada to follow suit.

On Friday, Trump is set to present NASA’s Congressional Space Medal of Honor to the four Artemis II astronauts. The ceremony will take place at 11 a.m. on Friday, Aug. 28, at NASA’s Johnson Space Center in Houston.

The recipients are NASA astronauts Reid Wiseman, Victor Glover, and Christina Koch, along with Canadian Space Agency astronaut Jeremy Hansen.

The crew recently completed a 10-day mission that looped around the Moon, marking the first crewed flight of NASA’s Orion spacecraft.

According to NASA, the mission also represented the first time in more than 50 years that astronauts traveled beyond the Moon, reaching a greater distance from Earth than any humans have before. NASA Administrator Jared Isaacman is expected to take part in the ceremony.

Tonight in Houston, Trump is scheduled to attend an event described on his official agenda only as an “RNC engagement,” and is closed to the press.

Houston Public Media has reported that Trump is expected to take part in a Republican National Committee fundraiser on Thursday evening designed to raise significant funds ahead of the November midterm elections.

According to Click 2 Houston, past reports say tickets could cost anywhere from $10,000 to nearly $500,000, depending on the level of access, with proceeds benefiting the RNC.
