“We consistently respond with our long-range capabilities to Russian strikes targeting lives. Overnight, strikes hit two defense plants in Tula and Voronezh oblasts. SBU units also successfully struck the aggressor’s oil facilities in Krasnodar Krai over the past day,” the president said.

According to Zelenskyy, strikes also targeted facilities in Kaluga and Oryol oblasts that Russia uses to launch drone attacks against Ukraine.

In Bryansk Oblast, operations directly targeted Russian forces. Targets in the Black Sea were also struck.

“I am grateful to everyone who is bringing the war back to where it came from. Russia must stop the escalation,” Zelenskyy said.

On the night of Sept. 26, Ukrainian Defense Forces units struck facilities at the Azov Optical-Mechanical Plant in the city of Azov in Russia’s Rostov Oblast.

According to the Absolutely Reliable OSINT project, at least five production workshops at the Azov Optical-Mechanical Plant were damaged in the attack.
