Bridget Fonda is continuing to show off her slimmed-down figure after reportedly dropping a whopping 100lbs over the course of a year.

The 62-year-old retired actress stepped out in Los Angeles on Tuesday pairing a white top with long-sleeve blue button-down shirt.

The Jackie Brown star completed the look with flowing black pants and sneakers, toting a retail gift bag as she headed to lunch with friends.

Spectacle-wearing Fonda accessorized with a black crochet bag and wore her silver tresses in a high ponytail.

Her latest appearance comes weeks after she was spotted showing off her arms last month in LA.

Since losing weight, the star – whose dad was the late Peter Fonda and whose aunt is Jane Fonda – has reportedly gotten her ‘confidence back’ and has even considered a Hollywood comeback.

The Daily Mail spoke to a nutritionist in February about the ways in which the one-time A-lister could have dropped the weight.

Dr Wilks, a weight specialist in Southern California, said, ‘It looks like she has definitely lost more weight in the last two months, and possibly has dropped as much as 100lbs in the past year.’

‘First of all, it is likely she used medication,’ he added.

‘She could have taken a diabetes drug like GLP-1 which can be found in Zepbound and Ozempic. That would explain the rapid and consistent weight loss.’

‘But if she dropped the pounds naturally there really is only one way she could have done it: by dramatically decreasing sugar, carbs and dairy.’

The newfound confidence has reportedly inspired the star to consider a Hollywood comeback.

‘She has incredible talent, so it’s not going to be hard for her to get cast,’ a source told Star magazine in March.

Fonda, who married film composer Danny Elfman in November 2003, stepped back from the spotlight following a serious rollover car accident in heavy rain earlier that year. The crash left her with two fractured vertebrae and a wrecked vehicle.

After welcoming the couple’s son in 2005, she continued to fade from Hollywood to focus on recovery and motherhood.

Back in 2023, she stated there was no chance of returning to film work, ‘I don’t think so, it’s too nice being a civilian.’

Fonda made her film debut at age five in the 1969 movie Easy Rider which starred her father Peter, Jack Nicholson and Dennis Hopper.

She was considered one of the best, in-demand actresses in the late 1980s and 1990s, taking on roles in You Can’t Hurry Love (1988) and Scandal (1989).

In 1990, she played journalist and photographer Grace Hamilton in Francis Ford Coppola’s sequel The Godfather Part III.

She then starred in Single White Female (1992) opposite Jennifer Jason Leigh, then It Could Happen To You (1994), Jackie Brown (1997), A Simple Plan (1998), Lake Placid (1999) and Kiss Of The Dragon (2001). The last time Fonda appeared on the screen was in the 2002 made-for-television film Snow Queen.
