Mark Wahlberg was joined by a few special people at the premiere for his new movie.
While walking the carpet at the Los Angeles premiere of his new film By Any Means on Tuesday, Sept. 1, the Flight Risk star, 55, was all smiles as he posed alongside his two sons — Brendan, 17, and Michael, 20 — as well as YouTuber Mikyle Rafiq.
Michael stood beside his dad in a white button-down shirt and black pants, while Brendan kept it casual in a gray polo shirt and jeans. Wahlberg was dressed up in a navy blue suit paired with a white button-down shirt.
In addition to his boys, the actor shares two daughters Grace, 16, and Ella, 23, with wife Rhea Durham. While raising four kids is “not easy,” Wahlberg often turns to his faith “for the strength and guidance” to be the best parent he can be.
“I want to give my kids the world, but I also want them to appreciate everything, to succeed, to be good people, to enjoy life,” Wahlberg has said about his parenting philosophy. “This is my most important role. If I fail at this, I fail at everything.”
Last November, the star of The Family Plan 2 spoke to PEOPLE exclusively about his simple wish for the holiday season: lots of quality time with his loved ones. He shared that his favorite seasonal tradition is “just getting together with the family.”
“All the kids being in one place at one time, for a good amount of time, where we have breakfast together, lunch together, dinner every night, and we’re all hanging out,” Wahlberg said.
The actor acknowledged that it’s only a matter of time before all his kids leave home to live their own lives, making holiday scheduling much more complicated.
“We’re trying to figure out, in, say, four or five years, how can we be at four places at once?” quipped Wahlberg.

In September 2025, Wahlberg spent some quality time with his family on the set of one of his latest projects. The star was seen in a photo shared to his wife’s Instagram sitting down at a desk, which seemed to be in a classroom.
Rhea smiled and placed a hand on her husband’s shoulder, while their Grace stood on one side of her. On the other side, the couple’s sons posed behind their dad. Michael also had his arm around his girlfriend.
“On set 🎥🎞️ @markwahlberg,” Rhea simply captioned the shot.
