Kelly Clarkson just dropped bombshell career news ahead of ‘The Voice’, and fans have so much to say

Kelly Clarkson is hitting the music festival circuit!

As the singer gears up for The Voice season 30 to air on September 21 on NBC, she surprised fans with an announcement they weren’t expecting. On Instagram, Kelly revealed she will be playing the Stagecoach Music Festival in Indio, California, on Sunday, April 25, 2027.

And she’s not the only The Voice mentor who will be there that weekend. Kelly’s fellow Season 30 coach Riley Green will perform at the event two days prior on Friday, April 23.

“See you at @stagecoach 🔥,” she wrote alongside a photo of the full Stagecoach lineup on September 14. “Passes go on sale Friday, 9/18 at 11am PT at stagecoachfestival.com.”

As this is Kelly’s first live music event since The Kelly Clarkson Show ended in late August, fans were thrilled.

“Ummmmm haven’t cared to go to Stagecoach in years but I may need to figure out a way to get my but there on Sunday!!!!!!!!!😍😍😍,” one person wrote in the comments. “Kelly goes country!!!” another exclaimed. “Oh my we need to see this 🔥🔥🔥,” a different follower added.

Others were upset to see that Kelly wasn’t headlining the festival.

“They were so close to having at least 1 woman headliner!” one person lamented. “THE Kelly Clarkson not a headliner? what the actual…,” another agreed. “WHY AREN’T YOU A HEADLINER QUEEN,” a different follower added.

Alongside Kelly and Riley, fans will get to see Shaboozey, Florida Georgia Line, Pitbull, and other artists throughout the weekend.

While we don’t know what her setlist will look like, Kelly has been teasing new music over the last few months and released a single over the summer called “I’d Be Lyin.’”

“New Official Music Video for I’d Be Lyin’ is out now! (Link in bio),” she captioned a snippet of the song’s music video on Instagram back in August. We’re so excited for her!
