Matthew McConaughey’s teenage daughter Vida stole the spotlight on his big night on Thursday, September 17.

The 16-year-old made a glamorous appearance alongside her dad, mom Camila, 43, and brother Levi, 18, at the premiere of Matthew’s new Apple TV series Brothers in LA.

While Matthew looked dapper in a dark suit and Camila stunned in a semi-sheer, floor-length white dress, Vida stole the show.

The teenager was almost as tall as her 5’9 model mom, wearing a black and silver mini dress with a cinched waist, semi-sheer tights, and black platform heels.

Her curly hair, like her mother’s, was styled in a chic updo, and she stood tall next to her family as they posed for photos at the event.

Vida, who turned 16 in January, has joined her parents for several red carpet appearances in recent months.

In August, she, Levi, and their younger brother Livingston, 16, stepped out in Texas for a special screening of Matthew’s film, The Rivals of Amziah King.

Levi was his dad’s double in a beige linen shirt and blue jeans, while Vida rocked a black dress with spaghetti straps and Livingston looked stylish in a light blue linen suit and white tee.

They also joined their parents in April at the Mack, Jack & McConaughey fundraising gala in Austin, Texas, where, once again, Vida stood out from the crowd.

She looked stunning in an elegant royal blue gown featuring a sleeveless design and draped neckline. The floor-length number was styled with a pair of open-toe heels.

Texas is home

Matthew, Camila, and their three kids now live in Texas after relocating from Los Angeles in 2014 to raise their brood away from the spotlight.

“This has always been home; I mean, there’s multiple reasons for [the move]. I mean, this is where I have a great relationship with time – meaning 60 seconds feels like a minute, a mile feels like a mile,” he explained on the Today show.

“I like to live in a place and for a home to be a place where I have a good relationship with time.”

He added: “Our family unit is here – we have resources and a backbone of security here. I wanted [my kids] to have what I grew up around. There’s a solid…amount of common sense that runs through it; it’s untalked about, but we understand it here.”

And Camila agreed: “We lived in Malibu for many years and having the paparazzi outside our door every day – every single day – when that becomes your normal, you don’t realize how much that’s actually affecting the things you do until you actually leave and get out of it.”

She added: “The kids get to have a private way of growing up. So, from that perspective, it was very important.”
