(ANSA) – ROME, AUG 14 – The body of a 71-year-old woman was found inside a closet in an apartment in Rome’s Tor Bella Monaca neighborhood on Friday. The woman was reportedly killed by her 51-year-old

son, who, when tracked down and arrested, admitted to the murder. The Carabinieri were alerted by her family, who had no news of her, concerned about the woman’s arguments with her son, who was demanding money to buy drugs. The hypothesis is that the woman was killed during yet another argument. The victim’s body suffered head injuries and facial fractures. Carabinieri from Tor Bella Monaca and the Frascati branch are investigating. (ANSA).
