Donald Trump fans say ‘something’s up’ as he struggles with Air Force One stairs
President Donald Trump has ignited fresh concerns about his health following a recent television appearance that quickly made the rounds on social media.
Viewers were unanimous in their reaction after news outlets circulated footage of Trump stepping off Air Force One over the weekend, which showed the president repeatedly slapping his leg while descending the aircraft’s stairs.

The clip spread rapidly across social media over the weekend, just days after Trump, 80, was photographed with significant bruising on his forearm at the LIV Golf New York tournament held at his Trump National Bedminster course in New Jersey, according to the Daily Beast.
One social media user questioned: “Does anyone know why Donald Trump slaps his leg so much every time he walks down a flight of stairs?” In a follow-up post, they added, “Omg… watch the way Trump just stepped off Marine One. Users all over social media are wondering why it looks so difficult for him to lift his left foot.”

Numerous social media commentators weighed in on the clip, suggesting the president appeared to be struggling to navigate the stairs.
“It’s a physical therapy technique,” one person wrote. Another remarked, “Some wild comments! He’s unwell.”, reports the Express.
A third mused: “Not good… something’s up.”
A fourth commented: “His limbs are getting numb!”.
Another suggested: “He’s been doing it for a year or two. The internet just noticed this weekend.”
A sixth penned: “He may be checking for numbness. Like he is waking it up. It is not something a healthy person needs to do.”
Another mused, “Looks like numbness in his hands. I’ve seen him doing this before.”
Trump and the White House have consistently denied any concerns regarding his health.
Following the appearance of marks on his left hand, Trump instead pointed to his daily aspirin, which thins the blood, as well as the chronic venous insufficiency he was diagnosed with in July 2025.
In an official statement, White House spokesperson Davis Ingle described Trump as “the sharpest, most accessible, and energetic president in American history.”
