Donald Trump’s glam aid accused of ‘auditioning to be next Melania’ as she follows him to eventharp

Natalie Harp may be giving Melania Trump a run for her money, according to some social media users.

On Friday (July 17), President Donald Trump’s glam 34-year-old aide followed him to a FIFA event in New York City, where she was captured beaming from ear to ear at her boss, whom he once said loved him “as much as his wife and kids,” from the front of the audience.

The president’s executive assistant was snapped as she flashed a grin during a FIFA reception at Trump Tower in Manhattan. She made sure she was the center of attention in a fitted, bright pink lace dress, with her signature bleached blonde locks scraped back off her face as she rocked a soft glam. It comes after Harp was snapped at lunch with the 80-year-old leader.

A snap of Natalie smiling at her 80-year-old boss on stage was shared on social media where online critics were quick to mock her. One user wondered, “Republicans and their ‘family values’. Didn’t Trump have a wife? Why is Natalie Harp there instead of Melania?”

A second person echoed this sentiment, joking, “She’s auditioning to be the next Melania,” prompting a third to pen, “Where’s Malaria [Melania]? Parking cars for the valet?”

Others focused on the other women in Trump’s inner circle, like his press secretary Karoline Leavitt, 28, whom he once accused of having “machine gun lips”. A fourth user asked, “Does machine gun lips Leavitt know that the harp woman showed up?!”

While someone else posed, “Why does she look like Ivanka?” and a sixth added,” Aww, Ivanka’s replacement… that’s nice.” As per the snaps from the event, it seemed Harp was the only woman in Trump’s team in attendance with him.

At one point, Trump took center stage at the event, which hosted some 300 guests, including FIFA president Gianni Infantino. Late last year, Infantino awarded the president a newly invented FIFA Peace Prize, just weeks before Trump launched his military strikes on Iran, which continue to this day.

In remarks at his midtown high-rise on Friday, Trump said he looked forward to the U.S. hosting another World Cup, but next time without Canada or Mexico.

Harp, a conservative former television host, has increasingly popped up alongside the president at several high-profile events. On Wednesday, she was photographed in Pennsylvania behind Trump, who traveled there to attend a defense roundtable.

She has been described as “totally devoted” to the president and even thanked him for “helping” her win her battle with a rare form of stage 2 bone cancer after Trump signed off the federal “Right to Try” Act, which gave terminally ill patients access to experimental treatments, helping her survive.

Harp often follows the leader around with a printer, showing him stories and social media posts, and conducts internet searches at his request. For this reason, she is widely known as his “human printer.”

She reportedly also helps draft some of the president’s Truth Social posts on Trump’s account, including an infamous post that depicted Barack and Michelle Obama as apes.

The president has praised Harp as one of his “most loyal aides,” and has reportedly told White House staffers that she was “the only one who loved him as much as his wife and kids.”

All “of you will go off and make money,” he told his other staffers, according to Maggie Haberman and Jonathan Swan’s book Regime Change: Inside the Imperial Presidency of Donald Trump. “She’ll never leave me.”
