Elsie Hewitt shouts out baby daddy Pete Davidson for surprising gift

Live from New York, it’s Elsie Hewitt at Olivia Dean‘s concert.

As the model reflected on her love for the “Man I Need” singer’s music after attending her The Art of Loving Live tour date in New York City, she praised her ex Pete Davidson—with whom she shares 8-month-old daughter Scottie Rose—for the opportunity.

“We dance to Olivia Dean every day,” Hewitt captioned her Aug. 18 Instagram post, referring to her and Scottie’s quality time. “It’s our album. her music has given me so much and been with us thru every up and down this year.”

She also jokingly expressed gratitude to “whoever fumbled” Dean, whose music often explores growth after heartbreak, for being the “inspo behind The Art of Loving.”

But the person the 30-year-old gave a very special shoutout to was the Saturday Night Live alum.

As she succinctly put it, “Thanks to my baby daddy for the tix!!!”

Along with the Grammy winner’s music being on repeat at home, Hewitt also revealed that it’s been part of Scottie’s milestones. With the song “Baby Steps” playing over the Instagram post, the Billy Knight actress wrote, “Scottie crawled for the first time to this song.”

Although Hewitt and Davidson ultimately broke up earlier this year, they have been determined to maintain a healthy bond for Scottie’s sake.

“We are cooperatively co-parenting our daughter whose well-being remains our top priority,” the exes said in a July statement, via their reps to Page Six, “and we are fully committed to working together to give her love from both of us.”

Both Davidson—whose firefighter father Scott Davidson died while responding to the terrorist attacks on Sept. 11, 2001—and Hewitt have emphasized just how special this next chapter has been.

“When I was young and my dad passed, I remember my mom used to be like, ‘What do you want to be when you grow up?'” the King of Staten Island star said on The Breakfast Club in August 2025. “I used to be like, ‘A dad.’ I always wanted to be a dad because I felt so crappy, and I wanted to make sure that a kid didn’t feel that way or have to go through what I went through.”

“When my girl told me she was pregnant, I felt exactly how I felt when I was 7 or 8 years old,” he continued. “I couldn’t be more stoked. It’s going to be fun.”

For Hewitt’s part, she’s been embracing the ups and downs that come with motherhood.

“I’m surprised by the fact that no matter how exhausted I am, I’m somehow ready at all times to do whatever this teeny little thing needs me to do,” she said in a June interview with Parents. “My ability to keep going, that shift in my energy levels, it feels like a visceral and primal change within me compared to the way I used to operate.”
