Hayden Panettiere’s neighbor says she was ‘terrified’ of Brian Hickerson amid police probe
Hayden Panettiere‘s neighbor is speaking out about her fear of Brian Hickerson, claiming she witnessed disturbing incidents involving the late actress and her on-again, off-again boyfriend.
Mia Terrazas, who lived one door down from the late actress in West Hollywood, California, said she could hear arguments between the Nashville star and Hickerson.

“I was terrified of him and I have a conceal carry [license], so that’s saying a lot. I was terrified,” Terrazas told Inside Edition on Wednesday, August 18.
Terrazas told the outlet she called police six times over disturbances involving Hickerson.
“This predator was in our community. He never stopped living at her place. There were times where he ripped apart her bathroom where he just took a sledgehammer at like 5 in the morning,” the neighbor added.
“I saw her leave I think twice in a gurney, you know, being taken away and didn’t know what was occurring at that time but she looked to be injured,” Terrazas continued.
According to the outlet, Hickerson was ultimately banned from the West Hollywood complex after he was arrested for punching Panettiere with a closed fist in 2020. Per Page Six, he pleaded no contest two felony counts of injuring a spouse or girlfriend and was sentenced to 45 days in jail following the incident.
Terrazas also shared a flyer that Panettiere’s West Hollywood neighbors created and posted on trees near their property, alerting residents to “please call 911” if they spotted Hickerson on the premises.
The sign read, “This individual has been seen trespassing in the common areas and hallways at [censored]. Please do not grant him access to the building.”
“If he is seen anywhere on this property, please call 911 immediately and report that he is trespassing on the premises,” text on the poster continued.
The homeowners association reportedly took down the poster a week later after residents learned “Brian was no longer considered a threat,” according to TMZ.
As In Touch previously reported, Hickerson and his brother, Zach, were present when Panettiere, 36, died on Sunday, August 16, in Greenville, South Carolina, apartment.
“This is tragic. It didn’t have to happen,” Terrazas said of Panettiere’s death.
Her comments come amid reports that Hickerson has stopped cooperating with police in the investigation into the Scream 4 star’s death.
As In Touch previously reported, Hickerson has retained a lawyer.
