Natalie Harp shut down by Mike Tyson with blunt remark spotted by lip reader

Tyson was on hand for the president’s event in Syracuse, New York, which was meant to show support for Republican candidates in the state, including Bruce Blakeman, who is running to unseat Kathy Hochul as governor. Tyson was invited on stage by the President at the event, where he cheerfully quipped he was “happy to be up here with my president.”Following his attendance at the event in New York, Tyson was once again on hand as Trump and his entourage arrived back in Washington. He was seen on board Air Force One alongside Harp, and also on the South Lawn with her and Chris Wright. However, he was also

seemingly less cheerful about the situation, as he seemingly shut Harp down during an interaction.Lipreader Nicola Hickling analyzed the exchange between the two for the U.S. Mirror, revealing that Tyson bluntly seemed to pay her no mind, even as she tried to inform him of a change in their route. Hickling suggested that Harp informed the boxer they had to take a different entrance, saying, “We gotta go round and use the other door.” However, Tyson coldly brushed her off, responding, “I’m busy on the phone.”Harp may be Trump’s closest aide, but that didn’t mean that Tyson was necessarily fond of her during their exchange–even though he has been a longtime supporter of the president. Not only was his second marriage to Monica Turner, the sister of former RNC chairman Michael Steele, but he also publicly declared his support of Trump prior to his first run for office in 2015–a support that has never wavered. As for why Tyson seemed to rebuff Harp, it isn’t clear what the motive was, though she has not garnered a lot of positive perception from the public. Harp’s role in the administration has frequently come under fire, especially after details of her devotion to Trump were revealed–exposing letters she has written to him and moves she has made to continue getting closer to him.Harp, one of many young aides to the President, first raised eyebrows as social media followers repeatedly joked she was serving as Trump’s “diaper nurse,” but became more scrutinized after the release of the book Regime Change: Inside the Imperial Presidency of Donald Trump. The book revealed just how much Harp’s presence had increased–and the actual level of effect she had on the president and some of his policy decisions, including showing him printouts of negative stories by unfavored press, and also positive social media posts about him. While adopting a more conservative approach recently, Harp was previously facing criticism for attire that was deemed inappropriate for her public-facing role. This included her appearance in a short black skirt at the 81st session of the United Nations General Assembly in New York on September 22. The skirt was deemed inappropriate for a formal and dignified setting, and intense debate on social media appeared to have been noticed, as she has since been seen in more conservative choices when she is photographed near the president.
