Natalie Harp strides after Donald Trump with humongous black bag slung over shoulder
Headline-grabbing White House aide Natalie Harp turned heads once again after being filmed striding behind President Donald Trump while struggling with a humongous black duffel bag.
The 35-year-old executive assistant was seen following the president during his Friday departure from Washington. Trump traveled to his Virginia golf club for a MAGA Inc. dinner before heading to Camp David for the weekend, according to his public schedule.

Social media users immediately became fixated on the enormous bag and Harp’s determination to carry it herself despite Secret Service agents being close by. It comes after Natalie’s own brother called her relationship with the 80-year-old president “very unhealthy”.

One viewer mockingly wrote, “Trump leaving DC with First Lady Natalie Harp not far behind him all dressed up for Camp David.”
Melania Trump remains the first lady, while Harp works as a special assistant and executive assistant to the president. Another viewer commented, “Oh my. What a short skirt you have, Natalie.”
A third questioned what could be inside the bag, writing, “That must be some embarrassing stuff in that duffel bag she struggles with that bag when there’s SS men right by her side but are not allowed to carry it.”
The contents of Harp’s bag have not been disclosed; however, the aide has repeatedly been photographed hauling oversized luggage while traveling alongside Trump.
One person even joked, “Has Trump died and been replaced by an android operated by Natalie Harp? The controller and programmer is in that bag she’s always carrying.”
Harp has become known as Trump’s so-called “human printer” because she reportedly follows him with a portable printer, providing him with paper copies of favorable articles, social media posts and other material.
She first entered Trump’s orbit after publicly crediting legislation he signed with helping her obtain experimental treatment for a rare form of bone cancer. Harp later worked for conservative television network One America News before joining Trump’s communications operation in 2022.
Her unusually close access to the president has attracted intense scrutiny. Reports previously claimed she sent Trump highly personal letters describing him as her “guardian” and “protector” and saying he was “all that matters” to her.
Harp’s security status also caused controversy after reports alleged she worked near the president for months without receiving the standard clearance. The White House rejected those claims, insisting, “Natalie Harp has a security clearance like everyone else, and she is a loyal and hardworking member of President Trump’s team.”
Financial disclosures recently revealed that Trump gave Harp and two other aides holiday gifts valued at $45,000 each. The White House said the president has a longstanding practice of giving gifts to people within his orbit.
Harp was also thrust into the spotlight when fabricated images appearing to show her kissing Trump circulated online. The White House dismissed the pictures as fakes, and independent analysis subsequently found they had been artificially generated.
