On the night of September 29, Russian troops carried out about 10 strikes on civilian infrastructure in the Zhytomyr region. Facilities in four cities came under attack, according to Vitalii Bunechko, head of the Zhytomyr Regional Military Administration.

Four cities came under Russian attack

From the evening of September 28 through the morning of September 29, Russian troops attacked public infrastructure in the Zhytomyr region about 10 times.

The governor reports that transportation and fuel infrastructure facilities, as well as civilian enterprises in Zhytomyr, Korosten, Zviahel, and Ovruch, were struck.

Rescue workers and emergency services are on the scene where the strikes occurred and where debris from the Russian drones fell.

No casualties reported

As of now, there is no information regarding fatalities or injuries resulting from the Russian attacks.

On the night of September 28, Russian drones attacked a food processing plant in the Zhytomyr community, causing a fire. Rescuers from the State Emergency Service of Ukraine quickly contained the fire and fully extinguished it.

On September 25, Russian troops attacked the foreign-invested company Kromberg & Schubert in the Zhytomyr community for the second time in a week, according to Vitalii Bunechko, head of the Zhytomyr Regional Military Administration.
