Noah Wyle and his wife, Sara Wells, are suffering a devastating loss after their dog, Lily, has died.

The couple announced the heartbreaking news in a joint Instagram post on Sunday, October 18.

They shared a carousel of photos of their chocolate brown dog. “Our sweet girl left us today💙,” they captioned the post. “we are devastated. It was unexpected. She was our beautiful California Brown Bear and there is/was no one like her💙Hug your fur babies tight.”

They included pictures of the dog as a puppy and photos throughout the years. Wells shared a video of the dog lying on her back. “I just want to be this dog in my next life,” she said in the video.
